Ear, Nose, and Throat

The specialty of otolaryngology, often referred to as ear, nose and throat (ENT), deals with disorders of the ear, nose and throat, as well as surgery of the head and neck.

Our team includes specialists trained who trained conditions such as:

  • Chronic ear infection
  • Sinus infections
  • Tonsillitis
  • Vertigo and balance issues
  • Sleep apnea
  • Thyroid and parathyroid issues
  • Allergies
  • Hearing loss
  • Nose bleeds
  • Voice and swallowing issues and treatments
  • Throat, oral cavity, and neck cancer
  • Newborn and adult hearing screenings
  • Custom hearing protection devices

Procedures offered include:

  • Audiology, including hearing testing and treatment
  • Balance testing
  • Hearing aids
  • Cochlear implants and evaluation
  • Thyroid and parathyroid surgery
  • Head and neck cancer surgery
  • Oral surgery
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Myringotomy or tympanostomy (ear tubes)
  • Eustachian tube dilation
  • Sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty
  • Facial cosmetics, including rhinoplasty and otoplasty
  • Allergy testing and treatment to include shots or SLIT

Shannon's ENT department accepts referrals from pediatricians and other primary care providers, as well as self-referrals.
