Ché Ornelas, MD, Hospitalist

Dr. Ornelas received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He studied public health at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and received his medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple. He completed his internal medicine residency at Banner Good Samaritan and Veterans Administration hospitals in Phoenix. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Ornelas comes to Shannon from Arizona, where he has practiced as a hospitalist for more than 11 years.

Elizabeth Ortiz-González, PhD, Psychology

Dr. Ortiz-González received her bachelor's degree from Central University of Venezuela in Caracas. She received her master's degree in psychology and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She completed her pediatric clinical psychology internship and post-doctoral pediatric fellowship at Texas Child Study Center at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin. She is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Ortiz-González is accepting patients at her office located at Shannon Clinic Knickerbocker, 3555 Knickerbocker Road.

Elizabeth Gomez, MSN, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatry

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National University in San Diego, California, after serving in the United States Navy. She received her Master of Science in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from California State University in San Marcos. Elizabeth is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.

Elizabeth is accepting patients of all ages at her office located at Shannon Clinic Knickerbocker, 3555 Knickerbocker Road.

Mario Hernandez, APRN, FNP-C, Urgent care

Mario completed his bachelor's degree at Angelo State University and his master's degree at Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing in Abilene. He has spent the past 11 years providing patient care within San Angelo and Sonora.

Mario is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He will be located at Shannon Clinic Jackson, 2237 S. Jackson.

Paul Kuder, APRN, FNP-C, Gastroenterology

Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science in Nursing from Angelo State University. A native of San Angelo, he has over eight years of experience providing patient care in acute and outpatient settings.

Paul joins the practice of Levi Hubble, MD. He is accepting patients at his office located at Shannon Clinic West, 4450 Sunset Drive.

Marcie Lusk, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Family practice

Marcie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice and emergency care.

Marcie has more than 13 years' experience in family practice and patient care. She welcomes existing and new patients to her office located at Shannon Clinic Big Spring, 2503 Gregg St., Unit C.
