Dr. Nannuri earned her medical degree from GSL Medical College and Hospital in Andhra Pradesh, India. She then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan and Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

John Chappa, MD, M.S.

San Angelo native Dr. John Chappa earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Angelo State University before completing his Master’s in Medical Science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society distinction. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Ortho San Antonio.

As Shannon’s first and only fellowship-trained adult reconstruction orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Chappa specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery using the latest minimally invasive, muscle-sparing, robotic-assisted, and traditional surgical techniques to provide personalized care.

Dr. Chappa brings advanced expertise in complex hip and knee replacement procedures, expanding access to specialized orthopedic care close to home for the Concho Valley and surrounding communities.

Moussa Omidvar, DO – Interventional Radiology

Dr. Omidvar received his undergraduate degree from California State University – Fullerton in Fullerton, California, and his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. He then completed his residency at ChristianaCare Health Services in Newark, Delaware.

Allison Harris, M.S., PA-C – Palliative Care

Allison received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, and her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. She joins the palliative care team at Shannon to provide specialized care for patients and their families.

Saray Navarrete, PA-C – Emergency Medicine

Saray received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and her Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies from West Coast University – Texas in Richardson, Texas.

She comes to Shannon from Kyle, Texas where she has worked as a Trauma Surgery and General Surgery Physician’s Assistant at a Level II trauma center. Saray is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is fluent in Spanish.

Taylor Weierhausen, APRN, CPNP-PC – Pediatrics

Taylor completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Angelo State University in San Angelo, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing – Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and has over 10 years of experience providing neonatal and pediatric care in the Concho Valley.

Dr. Diala earned her medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
