Default image

The Shannon Sleep Center will host an informational seminar for members of the public interested in learning more about Inspire® Sleep Therapy. This seminar will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room on the first floor of the Shannon Women’s and Children’s Hospital (201 E. Harris Avenue).

Neurologist and sleep medicine specialist Archana Rao, MD, will lead the discussion and provide information about Inspire® Sleep Therapy, a noninvasive treatment option for obstructive sleep apnea. Inspire® is designed for people who cannot tolerate traditional CPAP therapy, and is the only FDA-approved treatment that works inside the body to treat the root cause of sleep apnea. It is a small device placed during a same-day, outpatient procedure.

Dr. Rao is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology and sleep medicine. She has more than 14 years of practice in neurology and sleep medicine.

Seating for this seminar is limited. To RSVP, please call (325) 747-5064 or visit www.ShannonHealth.com.
