White Rose Support Group Hosts Candlelight Ceremony

The White Rose Support Group is hosting a candlelight service on Sunday, December 3, at 6 p.m. in the new Baby Rose Garden, located at Shannon Women’s & Children’s Hospital, 201 E. Harris. The public is invited to attend in-person or watch live on the Shannon Medical Center Facebook page.

A Tree of Remembrance will be put up with an ornament placed on the tree for each child. In addition, a candle will be lit for each baby represented. Hot drinks and desserts will also be served.

The White Rose Support Group is devoted to giving sensitive care and support to parents experiencing the loss of a precious baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or newborn death. Please join us for this special ceremony to remember these babies and families.
