About Dr. Shahrokh

Dr. Shahrokh earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. He then earned a Professional Master of Science degree in Clinical Pharmacology from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his master’s thesis at Fox Chase Cancer Center, focusing on overcoming drug resistance in kidney cancer. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey.

Dr. Shahrokh completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Houston College of Medicine in Kingwood, Texas, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Shahrokh specializes in benign blood disorders, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumors.
