About Provider Owen
As a true San Angelo native, Kristen Owen is proud to serve and care for our community. Kristen started at Shannon Medical Center in 2004 as a nurse aide while pursuing her RN degree at Angelo State University. She received her RN degree in 2007 and continued working in various nursing roles for 13 years before pursuing her Nurse Practitioner's degree.
Kristen also works PRN in urgent care, Shannon on Demand, and a local hospice agency. She has a true servant's heart and is an advocate for her patients. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering for local rescue groups.
Her attention to detail leads to providing the utmost compassionate care to all those she sees.
