Shannon Medical Center Unveils Panda Cares® Center of Hope to Support Healing and Inspire Hope for Patients and Families

Shannon Medical Center is proud to announce the dedication of the Panda Cares® Center of Hope, made possible by Panda Express® associates and guests, whose generosity helps shape a brighter future. The dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Tuesday, March 31 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Shannon Women’s & Children’s Hospital, 201 E. Harris Ave.

The Center of Hope inspires hope and promotes healing by providing specially curated programs that address each child’s entire well-being, including their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. Programs offered at the Panda Cares Center of Hope include therapeutic play and art therapy designed to give children the courage and strength to thrive.

Since 2019, Panda Express® and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) have partnered together to “make big change for all kids.” To date, Panda Express® has raised over than $171,000 for Shannon Medical Center.

We remain committed to supporting young patients on their journeys toward a healthier future.”

Panda Cares® Centers of Hope across the country are made possible by donations from Panda Express® associates and guests. Funds raised in-store and online at Panda Express benefit each store’s local community. Following a multimillion-dollar commitment to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals to fund Panda Cares® Centers of Hope, Panda and CMN hospitals have debuted Center of Hope locations at several hospitals in the U.S. from California and Texas to Hawaii and Washington D.C.
