That's why we strive to offer outpatient procedures and minimally invasive surgeries -- to get you back home as soon as possible. At Shannon Medical Center Big Spring, our expert surgeons perform surgical procedures using minimally invasive techniques for greater precision and patient comfort. These procedures can mean less pain and scarring, faster recovery, and shorter hospital stays. We offer the convenience of same-day outpatient surgery as well as traditional inpatient surgical services.

Our surgeons have experience in many facets of surgery from tumor removal and hernia repair to gallbladder surgery and emergency surgery. They also perform colonoscopies and other endoscopies.

• Central venous access (implanting a “port” for IV access)
