The primary goal of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is to provide the services, equipment, and training necessary so that your child or one that you know can stay in San Angelo at home (or closer to home) for their treatments. At Shannon, we know how difficult it can be for children and their families to have to travel to receive necessary medical treatment.
To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support. One hundred percent of contributions to the Children’s Miracle Network stays at Shannon Medical Center to benefit our Pediatric Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Trauma, Emergency Room, Shannon Pediatric Clinic, and any other department that could possibly treat a child.
The 26th annual KIXY Cares for Kids Radiothon presented by City National Bank will be held March 5, 6 and 7. The event will be broadcast on 94.7 KIXY FM from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday.
Radio personalities Jay Michaels and Rick Andrews, along with Miracle Mom Delaine Hale will highlight stories of children in the Concho Valley who have been treated at Shannon Medical Center.
During the three-day event, listeners will hear inspiring stories from patient families and hospital staff, sharing firsthand how lifesaving care, therapy programs, and innovative treatments are changing lives across the Concho Valley.
Since 1983, 94.7 KIXY FM has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network® and raised over $2.6 million for Shannon Medical Center.
You can listen live on 94.7 KIXY FM and KIXYfm.com. For more information, visit www.cmnsanangelo.org.
