Class Schedule
At Shannon Health Club, our Group Exercise program provides safe, effective and enjoyable workouts in a clean, caring and comfortable atmosphere. We are dedicated to continuing education and adherence to the highest standards of professionalism in the fitness industry.
Our program includes all aspects of fitness. With over 70 classes offered weekly, we can help you achieve a variety of fitness goals. Our classes encompass the three components of fitness: cardiovascular, strength and flexibility.
Shannon Health Club offers the most extensive aquatics program in the area. Our classes are designed for everyone, from those with physical limitations to those who are physically fit.
Our exercise instructors are nationally certified in group exercise and properly trained in CPR/AED. Our specialty instructors have further certifications in their individual fields.
During inclement weather, our classes at the Shannon Health Club will follow the SAISD delay that is issued. Therefore, if SAISD is delayed until 10:00am, then only the classes that start after 10:00am will be held.
Increase energy, cardiovascular strength and general body fitness. Depending on the pace and resistance you use, your lungs and heart will benefit. Cycling classes also target various muscle groups, which include hamstrings, calves, quadriceps and abs.
Power Ride
(45 min.) A studio cycle class featuring our Keiser M3 bikes and great music. A motivating multi-level cardio workout!
Burn & Firm
(45 min.) This high intensity cycling workout will guarantee you’ll burn fat and firm your muscles!
HIIT Blast
(30 min.) You’re going to get your heart pumping and have a blast with this high-intensity interval training spin class!
LesMills Sprint
(30 min.) A high-intensity interval training class using an indoor bike – low impact but the thrills and motivation push your physical and mental limits!
Cycle & Stretch
(60 min.) 45 minutes of cardio followed by 15 minutes of yoga-inspired stretch.

LesMills GRIT
(30 min.) This class features one of three high-intensity-interval-training classes to give you ultimate results in minimum time. (Strength, Athletic or Cardio) GRIT is not recommended for expecting mothers, the injured or those with joint issues.
LesMills Tone
(30 or 45 min.) A challenging mix of lunges, squats, functional training and tubing exercises will help burn calories and take your fitness to the next level. A complete workout!
LesMills BODYPUMP
(30/45/60 min.) challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercise like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
LesMills BODYCOMBAT
(60 mins.) A non-combat, martial arts-based fitness program with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, kickboxing, Muay-Thai and Tai Chi. Each class is choreographed to 10 tracks of the latest music, providing an exhilarating and stress-busting exercise experience which delivers ultra-fast results.
LesMills CXWORX
30 min.) A core workout which provides the ingredients for a stronger body!
LesMills BODYFLOW
(60 min.) A holistic group exercise set to uplifting music, combining the traditional Eastern disciplines of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates with new, dynamic techniques. In one class you’ll experience flexibility, balance work and core strength, linked with smooth transitions and moments of calm, action, and relaxation.

Balletone
No dance experience required! This class leaves everyone feeling graceful, strong and elegant with a fusion of nonstop cardio and strength blending ballet, Pilates and fitness.
HIIT 45
A high-intensity interval training class using a large variety of training tools!
Pound
(30 min.) You become the music in this 30-minute full-body workout. We combine cardio and strength using lightly weighted drumsticks.
Senior Fitness
(55 min.) A class for senior adults who want to focus on full-body exercise. All are welcome!
Silver Sneakers® Boom
This class incorporates athletic exercises that boost your overall fitness. Move through muscle-conditioning blocks and activity – specific drills to improve strength and functional skills.
Step
A cardio bench workout with fun choreography and lots of leg work.
Tai Chi
Come and experience moving mediation to experience mental, emotional and or spiritual enhancement.
Zumba® Fitness
A fun interval-style dance-fitness party! Once the beat kicks in you won’t know you’re working out!
Increase your strength, flexibility and toning!
Yoga Basics
A cardio bench workout with fun choreography and lots of leg work.
Ivengar Yoga
(70 or 90 min.) This class is a yoga practice developed by B.K.S. Iyengar. The emphasis is on detail, precision and alignment. You will use props such as blocks, blankets, straps and chairs to achieve balance and strength in the body.
Restorative Yoga
(60 min.) All levels. Learn how to develop more comfort and freedom in hips, shoulders and chest.
Chair Yoga
(45 min.) All levels. Easy yoga in a chair! You will notice increased range of motion in back, shoulders and hips.
BARRE
(45 min.) A barre class combining traditional muscle sculpting barre exercise with functional intervals and some plyometrics. Modifications will be offered for advanced moves.
Barre Fusion
This class is a combination between Classic Ballet Barre and Piloxing. With this hybrid fitness fusion you will benefit from ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.
