Shannon orthopedic surgeon to retire
Thomas Reid, MD, Shannon Orthopedic Surgeon, is retiring this month. Dr. Reid has practiced orthopedic surgery in the Concho Valley and at Shannon for 46 years.
A retirement reception is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19 from 4 to 6 pm in the Shannon Women’s & Children’s Conference Room, 201 E. Harris. Current and former patients, staff and the public are invited to attend.
A graduate of Baylor University, Dr. Reid received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedics at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. Dr. Reid is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has extensive experience in all areas of orthopedics, including sports medicine.
