Public Invited to Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Shannon Medical Center is hosting the sixth annual pink pARTy! Thursday, October 17, as part of breast cancer awareness month.
The pink pARTy! will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. Participants will get to make their own art pieces with fun activities such as cookie decorating, jewelry making and painting. Attendees are invited to enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres and learn about breast cancer prevention, detection and awareness from local experts. The event will feature a short presentation by Dr. Michelle Snuggs at 6:30 p.m. and a live art exhibition.
