Accounting - Clinic




The Assistant Controller is responsible for financial and accounting functions, as directed by the Director/Controller.

Maintains general ledger by preparing standard journal entries and adjusting journal entries upon review of accounts; Maintains chart of accounts by evaluating the necessity and relevance of existing and new cost centers; Analyze revenue and expense accounts to identify strengths and weaknesses of the organization; Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations; Accumulate and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff accountants; Coordination and preparation for independent and Medicare intermediary audits of financial records

Bachelors Degree in Accounting - Required;
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance - Required;
  • Five (5) of Accounting Experience - Required;
  • Experience in a Healthcare Setting, Preferred;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Preferred.
